The Goodman Group is seeking an experienced
Manager of Enterprise Systems & Applications
to provide strategic leadership and hands‑on management of all enterprise‑wide business systems. This role reports to the CIO and is responsible for ensuring that ERP, HR, Finance, Real Estate, Clinical Operations and CRM platforms function as a unified, efficient ecosystem that drives organizational performance. This role is ideal for a pragmatic leader who can balance strategic vision with tactical execution.
The ideal candidate will take ownership of the
entire application landscape , proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and modernization. They will lead strategic planning for upgrades, integrations, and system enhancements, aligning technology investments with long‑term business goals.
The Goodman Group is a privately held company located in Chaska, MN that manages senior living and health‑care communities as well as commercial properties throughout the United States. The company employs over 4,000 people and serves more than 10,000 residents.

This position will be based out of the home office in Chaska, MN with flexibility to work in a hybrid capacity after the first three months with manager approval.
Compensation: $110,000–$130,000 annual salary plus competitive benefits including generous PTO, 401(k) with employer match, full health coverage, disability insurance, life insurance, pet insurance, and recognition programs.
Essential Job Functions Strategic Application Leadership
Develop and maintain the enterprise systems roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Champion the use of technology to streamline operations, enhance data quality, and improve efficiency across all departments.
Partner with executive and departmental leaders to identify business needs, assess system performance, and drive innovation through effective use of enterprise applications.
Establish best practices and governance standards to ensure system stability, data integrity, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Operational Oversight & Optimization
Oversee all enterprise systems—including ERP, HRIS, Finance, Real Estate, Clinical Operations, and CRM—to ensure seamless integration and cross‑platform efficiency.
Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings, automation, and process improvements, including optimization of software licensing, support models, and vendor spend.
Conduct regular system performance reviews and user feedback sessions to evaluate functionality, reduce redundancy, and improve usability.
Lead initiatives to consolidate or enhance systems that deliver measurable value to the business.
Project & Vendor Management
Direct the full lifecycle of enterprise system projects—from business case development and requirements gathering to implementation, testing, and post‑deployment evaluation.
Leverage project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile) to lead initiatives with disciplined planning, execution, and risk mitigation.
Oversee vendor relationships and contract performance to ensure quality delivery, cost efficiency, and SLA compliance.
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring initiatives are completed within scope and financial parameters.
Technology Planning & Modernization
Lead strategic planning and execution for upgrades, enhancements, and technology modernization projects to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies or integrations that align with business objectives and improve data accessibility and decision‑making.
Coordinate change management, communication, and training to ensure smooth adoption of new or upgraded systems.
Maintain awareness of emerging technology trends and their potential impact on enterprise systems strategy.
Collaboration & Support
Serve as the liaison between IT and business units, translating functional requirements into scalable, technology‑enabled solutions.
Mentor internal team members and empower departmental “super users” to drive adoption and continuous improvement.
Promote a collaborative, solution‑oriented culture focused on customer service, accountability, and innovation.
Provide clear documentation, communication, and post‑implementation support to ensure ongoing success and knowledge transfer.
Knowledge and Critical Skills
Make independent decisions and follow instructions.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, prospects, residents, and families.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
8+ years of experience managing or implementing business applications or ERP systems in a mid‑sized organization.
Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile) strongly preferred.
Proven ability to lead cross‑functional technology initiatives and identify process improvements across multiple business domains.
Experience with ERP, HRIS, CRM, and financial systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Yardi, or similar).
Knowledge of cloud‑based and SaaS platforms, APIs, and low‑code/no‑code solutions (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform).
Strong vendor management, budgeting, and cost analysis experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all levels of the organization.
Industry experience in senior living, healthcare, real estate, or hospitality preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position may have direct reports or supervisory requirements.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Ability to move throughout the office.
Cognitive Requirements
Execute tasks independently.
