Senior Cloud Engineer

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of hands‑on experience architecting and implementing large‑scale, highly available services on public cloud (AWS)
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field
Expert knowledge of immutable infrastructure and infrastructure automation tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
Strong to expert understanding of Kubernetes as a platform, including cluster creation, management, and security
Expertise with AWS services such as EC2, S3, ALB/NLB, VPC, Lambda, RDS, ElastiCache, DynamoDB, Batch, IAM, SQS, SNS
Strong scripting experience with Python and/or Bash
Strong Linux administration skills, particularly with RHEL-based systems
Solid understanding of networking concepts and hybrid cloud integration best practices
Hands‑on experience with container technologies such as Docker or Podman
Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Familiarity with source control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, BitBucket, Azure Pipelines)
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with public cloud architecture and strategy planning
Contributions to open‑source projects or communities
AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate
Additional certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP
Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, or CKS)
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible
Knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure management
Experience with platform engineering practices
Understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization

Daily Responsibilities
Architect and manage public cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
Mentor and guide Cloud Engineering team members
Partner with developers and internal stakeholders to design cloud solutions and strategies
Automate and optimize infrastructure deployments using Terraform, Python, and other tools
Develop self‑service cloud capabilities for internal teams
Implement and support applications and systems running on cloud environments
Champion cloud adoption across the organization and stay up to date with new trends and tools
Participate in an on‑call rotation and out‑of‑hours maintenance
