A leader in the Engineering Consulting & Construction Management sector delivering commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects across the United States. We execute site‑led engineering, construction coordination, and project delivery with a focus on schedule certainty, quality, and safety. We are hiring an on‑site Construction Project Engineer to drive field execution, technical coordination, and project controls on active work sites.

Construction Project Engineer (On‑site)

Role & Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day on‑site engineering activities: review shop drawings, issue RFIs, and process submittals to maintain work continuity.
Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues and sequence work to meet schedule milestones.
Maintain and update project schedules and progress reports using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project; flag critical‑path impacts.
Support cost control and change‑order documentation by tracking field quantities, maintaining logs, and preparing documentation for estimates.
Enforce QA/QC and site safety standards: perform inspections, document non‑conformances, and close corrective actions in collaboration with QA teams.
Facilitate punch‑list, commissioning, and turnover activities to ensure timely handover and compliance with contract requirements.
Skills & Qualifications Must‑Have
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related engineering discipline.
3+ years of on‑site construction or project engineering experience on commercial or infrastructure projects.
Proven experience with shop drawing review, RFIs, and submittal management.
Proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit for reading and coordinating drawing packages.
Experience with project controls tools: Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
Strong working knowledge of construction QA/QC processes, safety regulations, and field documentation practices.
Preferred
OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification.
Experience with Procore or Bluebeam for document control and field collaboration.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or PMP certification.
