What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, deployment, and production support
Architect and guide the building of end-to-end systems optimized for performance, scale, and reliability
Work primarily in Go, Java, React, and JavaScript
Collaborate across time zones to guide the creation and consumption of services
Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale while maintaining high standards for code quality and application design
What is Required (Qualifications):
At least 7+ years of experience in building large-scale software applications
Must have 3-5 years of experience running and supporting production systems on public cloud such as AWS
Experience in designing and building services with AWS is required
Knowledge of Go, Java, React, and JavaScript
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or an engineering field, or proven experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience in the data domain and knowledge of building data pipelines
Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as SOX, PCI, HIPAA, and Data Protection
Excellent debugging and optimization skills
Experience in unit/integration testing
Good coding practices, including well-documented code
