We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with a proven track record of building and delivering enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of professional software development experience, deep expertise across multiple programming languages, and solid leadership skills in designing, deploying, and managing complex cloud-native applications. This role will be instrumental in shaping our technology strategy, mentoring team members, and ensuring engineering excellence.
Primary Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Java (Spring Boot), Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Next.js with Tailwind CSS and Shadcn UI
State management using Redux Toolkit, TanStack Query, Zustand etc.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support front-end and back-end communication
Architect, deploy, and manage applications on Microsoft Azure, with a focus on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration
Develop, package, and manage containerized applications using Docker, ensuring smooth deployment to Kubernetes environments
Apply best practices for cloud-native application development, microservices architecture, and containerization
Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote engineering excellence across the team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) to deliver high-quality, maintainable software solutions
Drive automation and efficiency in build, deployment, and infrastructure processes
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Solid understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices
High level proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and React (one or both skills)
Solid track record in delivering complex applications
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation
Hands-on experience with Machine Learning and Generative AI technologies, including model development, training, and integration into applications
Experience with modern frontend styling frameworks such as Tailwind CSS and component libraries like Shadcn UI
Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams
Experience working with HCM (Human Capital Management) data, including integration, transformation, and security considerations
Proven experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
Proficiency with OpenAPI Specification (OAS) for designing, documenting, and consuming APIs
Solid skills in containerization with Docker and Kubernetes deployment workflows
