Duties and Responsibilities
Under guidance of the Enterprise Architect, help define and implement enterprise data, analytics, AI architecture roadmap, standards and principles aligning with business goals.
Define conceptual, logical and physical data models, integration pipelines for complex data systems including data warehouses and data lakes.
Develop data architecture for business applications and guide product delivery teams covering data model, data flows, data integration and design of data repositories.
Deliver solution architecture for analytics and advanced analytics (AI/ML, GenAI) use cases across the enterprise.
Review and define principles that guide technology decisions for the enterprise in this domain.
Design the implementation of a data architecture based on business requirements and IT strategies, and rectify gaps and pain points within the current state.
Lead and contribute to domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction.
Analyze the current data platform technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
Lead the evaluation and selection of data, AI/ML, technology and products, and design standard configurations for the domain.
Lead and facilitate the domain’s architecture governance process based on Enterprise Architecture governance structure.
Minimum Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in information science and technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
5+ years of relevant IT and business/industry experience, including multiple IT areas such as applications, data architecture, architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management, and infrastructure planning and operations.
3+ years of relevant architecture experience.
3+ years of project/program management experience, preferably leading projects.
Expert knowledge of data platforms, data pipelines, AI/ML engineering, and guiding GenAI implementations.
Experience in an agile environment preferred.
Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
Deep experience applying existing, new, and emerging technologies to evolving business and operating models.
Experience with business transformation and process redesign methods.
Experience developing and monitoring delivery of efficient solutions to complex business problems.
Experience with business capability modeling.
Fluent English (native-level proficiency).
Preferred Skills
Strong knowledge of business architecture tools and techniques, including strategy on a page, strategic planning, business model canvas, disruptions and trends, balanced scorecard, economic modeling, risk and interdependencies, process models, business capability modeling, ecosystem modeling, customer and user profiling, journey maps, and human‑centric design.
Strong knowledge of varied business and operating models (existing, new, emerging, and hybrid).
Experience with DataBricks, Confluent Kafka, PowerBI, Tableau, Business Objects and SAP ERP, supporting data needs for high‑availability e‑commerce applications.
Knowledge of supply chain, logistics and e‑commerce.
Ability to enable streamlined development of AI/ML models and GenAI use cases at scale for the enterprise.
Comprehensive knowledge of designing and constructing business processes, functions, and organizational structures.
Knowledge of facilitation and organization change management.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills and proven ability to create original concepts and theories for a variety of projects.
Proven ability to apply multiple technical solutions to enable future‑state business capabilities that drive business outcomes.
Proven ability to communicate, influence and persuade business and IT leaders and peers.
Strong ability to leverage intellectual curiosity to inform solutions and innovate.
Strong ability to take responsibility for personal growth and acquire strategies for gaining new knowledge, behaviors and skills.
Physical Demands
