Front-End Developer (React & Node.js) – Hybrid in Seattle

Hybrid (Seattle, WA)

Overview We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer with experience in React and Node.js to join our innovative team. You'll be responsible for building engaging, responsive web interfaces that interact seamlessly with backend services. Collaborating across teams, you'll leverage the latest tools and open AI integrations to create scalable, cutting-edge frontend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain dynamic, user-friendly web applications using React

Collaborate with backend developers to integrate Node.js APIs and ensure smooth data flow

Implement interfaces that leverage OpenAI tools and APIs to enhance functionality and interactivity

Translate design concepts and requirements into well-structured, accessible UI components

Assist in building front-end testing strategies utilizing frameworks like Jest or Cypress

Participate in code reviews, debugging, and optimizing frontend performance

Contribute to the full application lifecycle: from UI design and development to deployment

Stay updated on industry best practices, usability standards, and accessibility guidelines

Qualifications

Proven experience developing responsive web applications with React

Hands‑on experience working with Node.js in a full‑stack capacity

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) a plus

Experience with version control (GitHub)

Knowledge of OpenAI tools and APIs is a plus

Experience configuring and working with CI/CD pipelines for web deployments

Understanding of testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress

Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a good eye for UI/UX design

Strong communication skills and comfort working in a hybrid environment

Preferred

Experience with containerization tools like Docker

Familiarity with Agile workflows and collaborative development practices

Exposure to cloud‑native architecture or micro‑frontends
