$1800 – $1840

and interdisciplinary clinical support (Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and more)
PCU Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active South Carolina RN license or multistate compact nursing license
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Stepdown RN experience (will consider nurses with 1+ years of recent unit experience)
1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
Certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS (all active)
Proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation, cardiac and vasoactive drip management (no titration), nasal cannula, oxygen therapy, IV initiation and maintenance
Ability to float to other qualified nursing units as needed
Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
Must meet facility distance requirements for travel nursing jobs
PCU Nurse Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to PCU/Stepdown patients in an ICU setting
Monitor and manage cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, and dysrhythmias
Administer oxygen therapy and IV medications
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy
Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
Float to other nursing units within the facility as required
Participate in self-scheduling and ensure weekend shift coverage
Complete all required pre-assignment testing and modules prior to start (up to 16 hours reimbursed)
