Sr. Linux/Unix Administrator with Security Clearance

Duties & Responsibilities: · Perform system administration for enterprise Linux/Unix OS solutions. · Install, configure, and maintain Linux/Unix OS operating systems. · Analyze and resolve problems associated with the operating system's servers, hardware, applications, and software. · Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with security standards. · Monitor everyday systems, evaluates availability of all server resources, and performs all activities for Linux servers. · Assist with configuring and deploying all virtual machines and install and provide backup to all configuration procedures. · Maintain and monitor all patch releases, designs various patch installation strategies, and maintains all systems according to program standards. · Provide Tier 2 and 3 troubleshooting support, interfacing with the end users and other technical teams from a service support perspective. Required Qualifications: · Top Secret security clearance and eligible for SCI access · Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC certification · At least 8 years experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux/Unix OS operating systems · Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with customer and staff · Good verbal and written communication skills. Desired qualifications: · One of the following certifications: ITIL 4 Foundations; Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator; or Linux Professional Institute Certification Linux Administrator; or CompTIA Linux+; or Oracle Certified Professional Oracle Linux System Administrator; or Red Hat Certified Engineer; or Oracle Certified Professional Solaris System Administrator; or Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation
