Volunteer Grant Writer
to help us identify, draft, and submit grant applications that will provide crucial funding for our programs. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about civic engagement, tech for good, and community impact. Responsibilities: Research potential grant opportunities and funding sources Draft compelling proposals and letters of inquiry Collaborate with our founder to refine messaging and align with funder priorities Assist with tracking deadlines and submission requirements Qualifications: Strong writing and communication skills Previous grant writing experience preferred (but not required if eager to learn) Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently Interest in civic engagement, nonprofit innovation, or tech for social good What You’ll Gain: Direct impact on an emerging civic-tech nonprofit in its startup phase Experience in nonprofit fundraising and development Opportunity to shape the growth of a unique project making a real difference in Sacramento and beyond Remote, flexible schedule that adapts to your availability Additional Benefits for Students: Resume Builder:
