Solution Architect - US Army . Are you passionate about assisting the U.S. Army in implementing cutting-edge cloud computing solutions? Do you have expertise in utilizing the latest cloud technologies to tackle complex technical challenges? If you excel in guiding teams through application architectures and integration strategies while demonstrating strong consultative skills, we want to hear from you! Willingness to travel within the US and overseas is a must (approximately 35%). Responsibilities Lead technical engagements and ensure successful implementation of projects; define implementation architectures, respond to RFPs, and develop in-depth expertise in AWS technologies and service construction. Act as a subject matter expert on security for customer applications and services, providing incisive technical designs that address customer needs in the Defense sector. Facilitate the capture and sharing of best practices within the AWS solution architect community; work collaboratively and share knowledge with top technical talents across enterprise architecture. Help develop and execute strategies to foster widespread adoption of AWS services among customers, system integrators, and solution providers. Effectively communicate architectural and design decisions with end-users and developers, including executive-level stakeholders. Basic Qualifications 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics. 3+ years of experience in the design, implementation, or consulting of applications and infrastructures. 10+ years of experience in IT development or consulting within the software or Internet industries. Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking. Proven experience engaging with end-users and developer communities while effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders. Experience in architecting infrastructure solutions using Linux/Unix and Windows, with insights on server architecture, load balancing, high availability/disaster recovery, and storage solutions. Background in web services development and deployment, as well as cloud computing experience. Consulting experience with Defense Department clients.
