Senior Linux System Administrator with Security Clearance

About This Job Air and Space Force Solutions, a business unit within GoldenTech, has an opening at our Hill Air Force Base, Utah location for a system administrator. The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and play a vital role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. Maintain storage connected to a Storage Area Network (SAN)
Maintain Hypervisors using VMware
Conduct cross-department training and end-user training
Perform root cause analysis and resolve faults and errors in applications
Develop recommendations for enhancing software support services
Ensure adherence to IT infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures
Ensure systems and applications comply with Department of Defense (DoD) directives, including DISA STIG and IAVM bulletins

Hill Air Force Base, Utah Travel:
S. citizenship due to government contract requirements. An active final Secret clearance is required upon hire. The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. An active Top Secret clearance is preferred. A technical degree in computer science or a related IT field, with the following experience:
System administration, including system design, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Use of DISA STIG checklists to assess and document compliance
Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
Scripting to automate tasks using PowerShell and/or AWS Console
Familiarity with Virtual Desktops and virtualization (VMware ESXi preferred)
Experience in large-scale deployments as an administrator
Knowledge of cloud migration and AWS Cloud Platform (IaaS preferred)
General knowledge of antivirus, vulnerability scanning software, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
User acceptance testing (UAT) and industry certifications
An active Top Secret clearance is preferred but not required.
