Platform Engineer (TS/SCI Clearance Required) If you enjoy working with new technologies, enterprise-leading equipment, and seek to design, deploy, and maintain development pipelines, we would like to speak to you. This position will play a critical role in building, maintaining, and optimizing the underlying infrastructure to support Artificial Intelligence (AI) workloads. You will join a diverse team of platform engineers to design, deploy, maintain, and secure platform infrastructure. You will collaborate with people inside and outside the organization to deliver the highest standards for building, deploying, and securing infrastructure. Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes primitives (Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Persistent Volumes, Namespaces). Networking: Kubernetes networking (CNI plugins like Calico or Cilium), service meshes (Istio, Linkerd), network policies, and DNS. Security: RBAC, Admission Controllers, vulnerability scanning, secret management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager), network security. Performance & Optimization: Diagnosing performance issues, optimizing utilization, cluster tuning. Pipeline Design & Implementation: Building automated CI/CD pipelines with GitOps best practices. Python, Go, Bash, or similar. Monitoring & Alerting: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, Splunk. DevOps & SRE Principles: Strong grasp of DevOps culture and SRE practices. Testing: Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies. Linux/Unix: System administration, networking, file systems, process management. Networking Concepts: Core protocols (TCP/IP, DNS,
Load Balancing). Adaptability & Continuous Learning: Staying ahead in cloud-native technologies. Additional Skills & Requirements Relevant certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS, AWS/Azure DevOps certifications). Experience with Kubernetes operators, CRDs, or internal developer platforms (IDPs). Ability to travel up to 20% for on-site activities.
