Ventus Solutions is seeking a skilled Ship Design Business and Financial Manager (BFM) to support an innovative program. The ideal candidate will provide full-spectrum PPBE process support across multiple programs including Subsea/Seabed Warfare (SSW), Unmanned Systems (UxS) Platform and Payload Integration, and Unmanned and Remotely Operated Vehicles. Join our innovative team and contribute to impactful national security initiatives. Work Location: Hybrid, Washington D.C. Travel: Less than 20% for internal and external meetings Position Responsibilities: - Provide assistance in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. - Participate in preparation, review and defense of the mid-year and end-of-year investment accounts. - Provide Proficiency with NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS) or comparable DoD financial management systems. - Provide assistance in developing and managing budget execution plans, task books, Estimates at Completion (EACs), and financial exhibits. - Ability to interface effectively with Program Offices, contractors, and financial management teams. Required Experience: -Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and complex data modeling). -Excellent communication and briefing skills with the ability to develop executive-level financial presentations and reports. -5–10 years of related experience providing business, financial, and program management support within the DoD or Navy acquisition community. -Math Degree or Proficiency -Active DoD Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship. Desired Experience: -Knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle, programmatic documentation, and contract financial oversight. -Experience drafting Technical Instructions (TIs) and Procurement Requests (PRs) in support of contract execution. -Familiarity with investment account reviews, mid-year/end-of-year financial reconciliation, and budget realignment actions. -Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. -Experience coordinating with government financial analysts and industry partners to align program execution and resource allocation.
