Deployed Support Specialist - Mid with Security Clearance

TEKsystems Team supports the United States Navy in providing reliable and secure information services to shore-based networks. The role involves: - Installation and upgrading of network devices and components, including switches, routers, and network monitoring devices. - Operational support and configuration of network devices such as servers, routers, switches, associated software tools, and cabling in a large LAN/MAN/BAN/WAN environment. - Project coordination to manage maintenance activities and network outages. - Troubleshooting network-related issues and resolving outages. - Knowledge of network protocols like OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP is a plus. - Experience with wireless technologies, VPNs, IPS, and WAN Accelerators is highly desirable. Qualifications: - 4+ years of experience as a Network Technician. - CCNA certification within 6 months. - Secret Security Clearance (potential upgrade to Top Secret). - Strong customer service and communication skills. - Passion for excellence and continual improvement. - The role offers hands-on experience with an enterprise network and opportunities for growth and certification reimbursement.
