System Safety Engineer II with Security Clearance

You will do: • Assisting with and implementing one or more client compliant system safety programs • Performing client System Safety Program tasks and analyses, involving management, analysis), evaluation and verification • Assisting with analysis of engineering hardware and electrical drawings and schematics assessing for fault tolerance, latent hazards, and safety requirements compliance • Working with test and tactical operating and maintenance procedures to assure the proper administrative controls are in place • Provide creative solutions to maximize safety functionality without impeding critical performance. Clearance Required: Secret Qualification Must have • Bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience. • An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position. • Experience with Safety Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical or Firmware Engineering. Experience with DoD System Safety Programs • Experience with system and software safety implementation in Agile Development environment • Experience interfacing with Human Systems Integration showcasing execution of Human Factors Engineering tasking involving client systems program. • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Proposal Development • Familiarity with Engineering Change Proposals, Engineering Review Boards, System Safety Working Groups Additional Job Details: Pay Rate:- $65/hr.-$Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
