The ideal candidate brings *6+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, AWS, and RHEL*, along with a proven track record of supporting mission-critical systems at scale. Big Data and data engineering expertise — including *Elasticsearch, Kafka, NiFi, and Databricks* — is highly valued, as is experience with modern cloud-native databases like *RDS and PostgreSQL*.

*An active Secret Security Clearance is required.*

What You’ll Do

* *Architect and scale infrastructure* in AWS with high availability and resilience in mind. * *Automate deployments and configuration* using Terraform and Ansible to drive consistency and efficiency. * *Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines* in Jenkins for rapid, reliable software delivery. * *Containerize and orchestrate applications* with Docker and Kubernetes. * *Secure infrastructure and workloads* using Prisma Cloud, IAM best practices, network hardening, and continuous compliance monitoring. * *Implement and enforce security baselines* including STIGs, CIS benchmarks, and support for ATO (Authority to Operate) processes. * *Monitor and troubleshoot production systems* using observability tools such as Elasticsearch, Prometheus, and Splunk. * *Support data engineering and analytics workloads* with RDS, PostgreSQL, and Databricks. * *Plan and test disaster recovery strategies* to guarantee data integrity and operational continuity. * *Collaborate cross-functionally* with development, architecture, and security teams to embed DevSecOps best practices across the lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For *Required Qualifications*

* *Active Secret Security Clearance.* * *6+ years of experience* with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, AWS, and RHEL. * Proven background in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). * Strong scripting ability (Python, Bash, Ruby, or similar). * Solid experience with CI/CD pipeline management in enterprise environments. * Deep understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs). * Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex production issues. * Strong grasp of cloud security, compliance, and automation — including Prisma Cloud, STIGs, CIS benchmarks, and ATO processes.

*Preferred Qualifications*

* Experience with *Databricks, RDS, and PostgreSQL*. * Big Data platform expertise: *Elasticsearch, Kafka, NiFi, Hadoop, Spark*. * Experience with additional databases (MySQL, DynamoDB). * Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $110,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
