Worldwide Specialist Solutions Architect - Streaming, Data & AI GTM Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA). As part of the AWS sales organization, SSAs work with customers who have complex challenges that require expert‑level knowledge to solve. SSAs craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address those challenges. This might involve guiding customers as they refactor an application or designing entirely new cloud‑based systems. The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) drives revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest small‑ and mid‑market accounts to enterprise‑level customers, including the public sector. Working backwards from customer’s most complex problems, we build and execute go‑to‑market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi‑billion‑dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist, and technical solutions architecture.

Key Job Responsibilities

Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.

Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.

Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public‑speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent, etc.

Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best‑in‑class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.

Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.

Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.

Basic Qualifications

2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

3+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working within software development or Internet‑related industries

Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud

Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
