Key Job Responsibilities
Troubleshoot production issues in a timely manner
Support and manage daily production operations and eliminate blockers and/or part shortages
Work with cross functional teams to solve production issues
Provide design for manufacturability feedback and drive positive continuous change to hardware
Work with process, quality, and design engineers to continuously improve manufacturing processes
Day in the Life As a Manufacturing Engineer this person will be supporting the technician team by resolving any obstacles and working with responsible engineers to disposition non-conformances. This individual will work closely with engineering teams in specifying and building or procuring tools and line equipment for Kuiper hardware builds. The successful candidate has some basic experience in supporting production of space hardware through development, QTP (qualification test procedures), and flight hardware ATP (acceptance test procedures).

Basic Qualifications
5+ years supporting production in a manufacturing capacity or related field
5+ years experience with enterprise systems
5+ years experience with RCCA
Additional Qualifications
Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
