Role Overview The VP Corporate Account Manager (CAM) – Employee Workplace Solutions position within International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) is a key business development role focused on growing our client base through the sale of personal IWPB products (Premier/Private Bank) to the employees, partners and owners of our Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) clients. The role holder will engage with the wider Employee Workplace Solutions (EWS) Team, WPB/CIB/PB Relationship Managers, and other key stakeholders in the strategy, planning, and fulfilment requirements of newly sourced and existing to‑bank‑managed relationships.
Within the EWS team this individual will also specialize in managing our Strategic Partner Referral Initiative (SPRI). The objective of the SPRI program is to source quality referrals from Relocation Management Companies and Destination Service Providers. The individual will own the strategic growth of the program including identifying and onboarding new partners, in collaboration with our procurement team, and commercializing best practices with our existing partners.
Responsibilities
Grow IWPB new-to-bank clients/accounts, deepen and retain relationships
Grow revenue, and initiate/develop and maintain cross‑line of business and local and global relationships with key stakeholders and leaders, Relationship Managers, and Senior Management to drive EWS growth
Build a network of referral partners
Ensure compliance and actively manage operational risk in accordance with HSBC and regulatory standards and policies
Collaborate with the Digital Account Opening, International Banking Center, Wealth, and Wealth Center teams to ensure proper focus on strategy and deliverables
Prepare and implement direct sales and marketing plans designed to develop and establish corporate relationships along with accompanying individual sales results
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, related field, or equivalent experience
Proven and progressive corporate banking sales experience or equivalent
Strong sales, managerial, interpersonal, organizational, communications, negotiations, lateral thinking, and decision‑making skills
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal business partners as well as external corporate clients
Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry, coupled with the ability to understand and negotiate through the HSBC internal network
