A DAY IN THE LIFE
Responsible for managerial aspects of a project including estimating, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, scheduling, budgeting, design review, and execution
Mentor Project Managers
Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate
Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work and provide value engineering ideas
Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors
Conduct biweekly jobsite meetings
Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
Commit to quality by evaluating project‑related processes
Make sound decisions under tight deadlines to meet/exceed client expectations
Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and associates
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
At least 8 years of construction experience with a design/build general contractor
Life Science, Advanced Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, or Data Center experience preferred
Estimating experience required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required
