Development Coordinator, Leadership Giving

Location: Boston, MA (office 1-2 days per week; remaining days may work from home). Employment type: Full-time. Salary: $46,000 (base). The Development Coordinator, Leadership Giving supports donors who give $1,000-$24,999 annually and provides assistance with donor inquiries, CRM tracking, event support, proofreading, and cross-team collaboration. The role ensures donor stewardship during high-volume periods and helps grow unrestricted revenue at the mid-level giving tier. Responsibilities

General Team Support (60%)

Ensure all communications with mid-level donors are imported to and tracked in CRM, following unified data documentation processes. Act as event lead for all events involving Leadership Giving donors, maintaining a collaborative event calendar and coordinating with the Development Experience and Engagement team. Provide administrative and proofreading support to all team members and coordinate with Resource Generation Branch coordinators for supply inventory, scheduling, and meetings. Support the Donor Experience and Board Strategy & Engagement teams for events and meetings. Assist the Leadership Giving team with annual projects such as calling, writing, and thanking donors to achieve annual goals. Donor Support (20%)

Partner with the Annual Giving Coordinator to respond to all incoming supporter and public inquiries via phone, email, and mail. Ensure all communications are entered accurately and in a timely manner into Salesforce. Manage the weekly special acknowledgement process for offline Leadership Giving donors. Direct Mail and Stewardship (20%)

Coordinate list reviews and suppression files for direct mail and other communications for mid-level donors. Assist the Associate Director of Leadership Giving with direct mail strategy and project management. Coordinate pulling lists of donors from the database and delegate Board of Trustee thank-you cards in collaboration with the Board Strategy & Engagement team. Manage, track, and update the weekly stewardship list for Leadership Giving donors and high-level annual giving donors. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience; 2-3 years of related experience desirable. Required Skills

Solid computer and database skills, including functional use of Microsoft Office. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Attentive to detail, able to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment. Preferred: Salesforce experience and customer service experience. Core Values and Competencies

The starting salary for this position is $46,000 and is non-negotiable.
