is seeking a
Principal or Senior Principal Systems Engineer
to join our Payload Systems Engineering Team supporting
Verification Planning . As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to support efforts on both concept and product development to deliver key solutions to our customers.
Primary Responsibilities
Plan, conduct and report verification work packages and activities to prove hardware and software product compliance to associated requirements.
Develop plans to conduct and report tasks including: project requirements for verification, design estimate compilation, compilation, issue and review of management plans, processes and metrics, project design & risk reviews, fault/issue investigation, review and reporting.
Implement project security measures related to V&V activities.
Report to NG Management and project team.
Promote best practice for V&V engineering lifecycle activities in accordance with corporate and industry standards.
The Basic Qualifications You Must Have To Be Considered
Principal Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in STEM curriculum with 5 years relevant experience; 3 years with MS Degree; or PhD with 1 year of experience.
Sr Principal Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in STEM curriculum with 8 years relevant experience; 6 years with MS Degree; or PhD with 4 years of experience.
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance a time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access.
Systems engineering experience (i.e., requirements, mission engineering, architecture, modeling and simulation, integration and test, verification and validation).
Verification planning or verification execution experience.
Our Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in Cameo.
Space experience.
Sensor/payload experience.
Active TS/SCI.
Salary Primary Level: $105,400.00 – $158,000.00 Secondary Level: $131,100.00 – $196,700.00
