We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Solution Architect, D365 Business Central, who has hands‑on experience selling business value solutions in highly competitive situations, implementing business applications for the CE suite, designing architecture, and demonstrating strategic business acumen. Solution Architects must have a passion for our customers and partners, demonstrated through professionalism and striving for excellence in all aspects of the customer experience. This position empowers customers and partners on their digital journey, from envisioning new possibilities to delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes and a great customer experience.
Responsibilities Partner Program Support
COE Technical Pre‑Sales and readiness – work directly with partners to help drive technical pre‑sales motions with Microsoft Business Applications / Power Platform workshop materials.
Understand customer/partner technical environment.
Architecture Design and Deployment – develop technical solutions and customize or reapply technical solutions based on customer/partner needs or demands.
Intellectual Property and Practice Development
Generate new and/or improve existing intellectual property, curating content to align with partner marketing messaging.
Create new intellectual property based on stakeholder requirements.
Re‑use intellectual property and recommend practices in both pre‑sales and delivery.
Participate and contribute to internal and external communities.
Trusted Advisor
Develop a network of internal and external relationships to build influence in addressing problems or blockers.
Stay up to date on Microsoft’s technologies, products, and services to communicate the mission, strategy, and capabilities.
Understand competitor solutions and identify how customer business value can be driven through Microsoft’s offerings; steer conversations toward benefits rather than features.
Thought Leadership
Share ideas, insights, and strategic technical input with internal teams and external communities.
Participate in external architect community events and share learnings with internal teams.
Mentor junior colleagues on technical and non‑technical concepts.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND extensive experience in cloud, applications, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud technology domain (Dynamics / Power Platform / Azure / GCP / AWS).
OR Master’s Degree in the same fields AND solid experience in cloud, applications, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (Azure / GCP / AWS).
OR equivalent experience.
Extensive experience in enterprise environments with a strong background in solution architecture.
Proven expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, particularly focused on Business Central implementations and transformations.
The Solution Architect Should Have The Following Core Competencies
Solid functional and technical understanding of D365 line‑of‑business applications.
Advanced customization & configuration: ability to tailor Business Central using Power Platform tools.
Integration expertise: skillful integration with Microsoft 365, Azure services, and third‑party systems.
AI‑driven process automation using Power Automate.
Experience leading migration projects from on‑premises to cloud platforms.
Leadership of multidisciplinary technical teams with clear direction and accountability.
Advanced technical selling and customer management skills.
At least 5 years of implementation experience across broad industries.
Proven experience in selling product and consulting engagements in competitive situations.
Experience in estimating, scoping, and writing statements of work that set expectations and limit risk.
Ability to articulate architectural differences and integration approaches across platforms.
Knowledge of specialized tools and solution providers.
Full application life‑cycle design knowledge and methodologies.
Exceptional consulting skills in large, heterogeneous environments.
Ability to perform high‑level architectural reviews and detailed delivery tasks.
Additional Qualifications
Domain experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions, including security, compliance, and identity.
Experience writing or contributing to design documentation, leveraging Azure DevOps, and designing wireframes for custom apps.
Regular involvement in presenting complex technical topics to both executive and technical audiences.
Deep knowledge of solution architecture for cloud and hybrid messaging/collaboration environments.
Ability to identify business needs and propose solutions; process improvement and strategic planning.
Relationship building with senior IT executives; stakeholder consensus on solution projects.
Collaboration and communication skills; presentation skills for large and small audiences.
Technical Qualifications
Passion for cloud architecture patterns, re‑architecting monolithic applications, and DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
Experience with competitive application development services across public cloud platforms (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, AWS, GCP, Oracle) is a plus.
