Job Description As a Systems Analyst specializing in Manufacturing Operations, supporting SAP, MES and Labeling solutions at Jack Link’s, you will be an integral part of a team that is transforming the protein snacks industry through technological innovation. You will collaborate with a diverse, international team, continuously learn new skills, and deploy critical planning solutions.

Responsibilities

Engage with Supply Chain & Operations stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into detailed technical requirements.

Advise on the formulation of IT solutions for Manufacturing Operations, leveraging a deep understanding of function challenges and opportunities.

Conduct in‑depth analysis to define system scope and objectives for complex implementations and enhancements.

Configure Manufacturing Operations solutions (SAP S4, MES, Labeling) to meet business requirements, focusing on production execution and operational efficiencies (OEE).

Optimize system settings and performance to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Identify opportunities for system enhancements and support their implementation.

Collaborate with developers to design and test custom solutions that extend the capabilities of Manufacturing Operations solutions.

Support integration efforts to ensure seamless operation between Manufacturing Operations solutions and other business‑critical systems.

Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP, Labeling and MES solutions, acting as a point of escalation for complex issues.

Support will include occasional on‑site visits with an estimated travel requirement of 20‑30% annually.

Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify areas for continuous improvement.

Implement best practices in system maintenance and updates to drive efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalency accepted.

Required Experience: 2+ years as an SAP Systems Analyst or similar role with a strong focus on manufacturing operations.

Preferred: SAP or Six Sigma certification.

Knowledge of Manufacturing Operations solutions (SAP ECC/S4, MES, Labeling) with a focus on modules relevant to Production execution.

Proficiency in the food manufacturing process, inclusive of production line process and batch traceability.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to address system challenges.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

Experience creating business‑relevant artifacts: requirements, process diagrams, use cases, design documentation, test cases, and test plans.

Experience gathering and communicating business needs using high‑level requirements, use cases, user stories, process models, or wireframes.

Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize multiple deadlines, work independently, and define problems as they arise.

Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate mutual understanding.

Customer‑service skills: active listening, empathy, and problem solving.

High proficiency in process optimization and system configuration.

Solid understanding of supply chain processes and how they integrate with SAP.

Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative team approach.

Benefits & Compensation Annual rate: $90,000 – $115,000. Base pay is one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package, which includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) participation, paid holidays, and paid time off. Additional rewards may include annual incentive and program‐specific awards.
