The Head of Feasibility & Engagement is a senior leader within Clinical Operations, responsible for shaping and executing the global feasibility strategy that underpins the successful delivery of clinical trials. This position will also build, maintain, and evolve capabilities, engagement strategies, approaches, standards, and relationship networks (internal & external) to incorporate the patient and site voice and establish/maintain CSL’s reputation as “Sponsor of Choice”.
Roles & Responsibilities
Leading the strategic and detailed assessment (including risk assessments and mitigation strategies) of clinical trial feasibility for CSL to support optimal business decision‑making in time‑cost analyses and execution options across all therapeutic areas.
Lead analysis and reporting of intelligence, timelines for clinical execution and proposed mitigations as appropriate to reduce uncertainty over time; the intelligence and analysis of the individual program / study environment may include patient perspective, site/country/payer perspective, competitive environment and overall program / trial design inclusive of novel technologies, procedures and the total demand of the program on the study sites / patients.
Leading CSL’s strategic emphasis on early and sustained engagement with sites and patients to enhance trial delivery and experience.
Integrate patient and caregiver insights into protocol design, recruitment strategies, and study communications from the earliest stages of development.
Build and maintain long‑term, trust‑based relationships with clinical trial sites and investigators to position CSL as a sponsor of choice.
Develop and implement study‑specific and portfolio‑wide engagement plans that align with protocol milestones and site needs.
Coordinate with local CSL affiliates, Medical Affairs personnel, and national coordinating investigators to ensure alignment and responsiveness in local languages and cultural contexts.
Skills & Experience
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Graduate degree desirable in a relevant field such as Operations, Analysis, Healthcare, or MBA.
10+ years of Clinical experience, including detailed assessment/analysis and reporting of program operational plans and options.
Must have experience strategically advising leaders on operational environment and best ways to succeed in plan execution.
Must have experience using diverse datasets for purposes of analysis and intelligence.
Must have the proven ability to use both qualitative and quantitative intelligence to guide assessments.
Proven leadership and global Clinical Operations experience is essential.
Proven leadership experience and success with building & developing matrix global teams.
