Product Engineering Specialist

will work within a team of professionals developing, producing, and improving microwave communication hardware at our San Jose, CA facility.

Responsibilities

Work with production staff to perform and document testing of microwave hardware.

Perform and document tuning and test results on multi‑function thin‑film microwave integrated circuits (MICs).

Work closely with manufacturing engineers, as part of a product team, providing feedback on modules and subsystem products.

Perform set‑up and calibration of the automated test station.

Qualifications Minimum:

BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Position requires access to technology, materials, software, or hardware controlled by U.S. export laws. Applicants must be a “U.S. Person” under U.S. export laws or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license.

Preferred:

Hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

Hourly Range: $34.00 - $38.00.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Pay may vary based on location, job function, education, and experience. CAES provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, and vacation.
