A leading law firm is seeking an experienced
Labor & Employment Associate
to join its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about employment law and wants to handle complex, high-impact litigation matters.
J.D. degree
from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
Active member of the California State Bar.
Minimum
4+ years of experience
in employment litigation.
Demonstrated
wage and hour class action
experience is
required.
Experience in
employment counseling and client advisory work
is strongly preferred.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Compensation
Base Salary Range:
$250,000 – $275,000 (commensurate with experience).
Total Compensation Potential:
$375,000 – $425,000+ including discretionary performance bonuses.
Additional origination bonuses available for self-sourced matters.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and litigate
employment cases , including
wage and hour class actions , PAGA, and single-plaintiff matters.
Provide
employment law advice and client counseling
on compliance, policies, and risk mitigation.
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses; take and defend depositions; and represent clients in court.
Collaborate with partners and clients on litigation strategy and case management.
(Preferred) Assist with traditional
labor law matters , including union relations and collective bargaining.
