Senior Account Executive, Health
Join us as a Senior Account Executive for Edelman Health, a dynamic health practice that seeks a smart, passionate PR professional to grow in healthcare communications.
Responsibilities
They should be able to develop communications plans, implement public relations tactics and impart knowledge to more junior team members.
They should have strong media relations, research, writing, editing, and client interaction skills, perform well under pressure, and be a team player.
Manage multiple projects on a fast-paced, high-profile integrated account, anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherence.
Manage projects while anticipating challenges and client/internal team needs, and working with cross-functional team members seamlessly to deliver timely, high-quality and detailed work.
Contribute to creation of communications plans that meet client objectives.
Build relationship with clients and colleagues at all levels.
Consistently produce high quality internal and external communications content.
Maintain SOP documents on behalf of broader team to ensure consistency and accuracy across the portfolio.
Help plan and coordinate traditional, digital and social media outreach programs.
Proactively raise hand and jump in to support junior and senior team members with ad-hoc client asks as they arise.
Aid in new business process including idea contribution, research and proposal preparation.
Commit to continuous learning; set and pursue stretch goals.
Qualifications
The Senior Account Executive must have at least three years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, public policy, advertising, management consulting, media and publishing. Pharma experience is desired.
They should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and a proven ability to manage multiple small or medium-sized projects simultaneously and be able to effectively manage up to senior team members on project status and needs while providing guidance and resources to junior team members and peers on specialist teams.
They should have strong media relations, research, writing, editing and client interaction skills, perform well under pressure and be a team player.
Compensation $52,000 - $77,000 a year. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJI’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
