Buyer/Planner 3/Production Planner Milpitas, CA.
Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Pay Rate: $48.07/hr - $55.29/hr DOE

We’re seeking an experienced Production Planner (or Planner/Buyer) to support new product build planning, procurement, and production activities in a low-volume, high-mix semiconductor manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, finance, and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage new product build plans, ensuring alignment with production and procurement schedules.
Open, manage, and close work orders while maintaining accurate cycle times.
Collaborate with finance on standard costing and budget planning.
Identify and mitigate risks to ensure on-time customer delivery.
Perform cycle counting and inventory management; engage with supply chain to resolve material issues.
Coordinate activities across manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams.
Qualifications
5–10 years of experience in production planning, procurement, or materials management.
Strong knowledge of SAP (1.5–2 years of hands‑on experience required).
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong organizational skills.
Industry experience in semiconductors or capital equipment manufacturing.
Additional Details
Must be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
Interviews will include at least two rounds via Zoom.
