About the Role Triumph Hospitality is seeking a results-driven Director of Hotel Sales to lead the sales efforts and marketing strategy for the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Nashville West End. This high-impact leadership role responsible for developing revenue management tools and strategies, maximizing revenue, and aligning commercial efforts with our company’s core values: Honesty, Loyalty, and Integrity.

As a key member of our team, you will bring strategic vision, strong business development acumen, and Nashville hotel market expertise to help the hotel grow market share and outperform the competition.

Core Tasks

Ensure sales best practices are implemented, including setting quotas, account management, and business development strategies.

Analyze market trends to identify revenue risks and growth opportunities.

Align hotel-level sales and marketing efforts with Triumph Hospitality’s overall vision and performance goals.

Collaborate with the hotel GM and team to plan and execute sales activities including prospecting calls, sales blitzes, trade shows, site visits, and networking events.

Conduct in-depth needs assessments by market segment and use data to inform strategy.

Contribute to the annual development of target corporate account lists and business case planning.

Oversee group block management and assist in building relationships with tour operators, sports agencies, and travel groups.

Execute revenue management strategies, systems, tools, and standard operating procedures.

Partner with the Triumph Regional Director of Hotel Sales on annual revenue and expense budgets.

Leverage brand-specific tools and programs, preferably IHG.

Elevate performance using tools like STR, Demand 360, Construct Connect, and local publications to maintain market awareness.

Serve as a liaison with OTA market managers, Chambers of Commerce, CVBs, and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications

Must reside in the Greater Nashville area and be able to travel to the hotel daily.

Minimum of 4 years of hotel sales experience, preferred in a limited hotel lifestyle such as Holiday Inn Express & Suites.

Proven success working with major hotel brands (i.e., Hilton, IHG, Marriott).

Experience emphasizing local/national corporate and business transient accounts.

Demonstrated ability in executing and evaluating revenue strategies in a limited-service hotel or similar, consistently achieving or surpassing growth objectives.

High-energy, initiative-taking leader with persuasive communication, organizational, and presentation skills.

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Sales, Marketing, or Business (preferred).

Established network and business connections in the Nashville market preferred.

Compensation Salary ranging $80k - $90k depending on experience. Eligible for sales bonus program up to 25% of base salary.
