Responsibilities

Collaborate Across Disciplines: Act as the bridge between engineering teams, ensuring seamless integration and coordination across all project disciplines.

Shape Project Success: Develop innovative design studies, define project scopes, and create accurate engineering estimates to drive project excellence.

Master Procurement & Installation: Draft detailed specifications for electrical equipment, evaluate technical bids, and select top‑tier solutions to meet project needs.

Perform Precision Calculations: Execute essential electrical calculations that form the foundation of successful designs and installations.

Think Creatively: Bring fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to solve complex technical challenges and push projects forward.

Be Hands‑On in the Field: Travel to project sites, conduct walkdowns, oversee installations, and support start‑up activities to ensure quality and compliance.

Lead and Inspire Teams: Foster a positive, goal‑oriented environment with leadership, empowering teams to achieve success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university, or equivalent work and training in a related role.

Typically 3 years of experience with design of electrical systems.

Experience in one of the following industries preferred: engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial (chemical or pulp & paper), energy, and government (DOE) projects.

Writing, presentation and communication skills.

Ability to work as an individual contributor and effectively in teams.

Proficient in Word and Excel.

Some roles may involve work on federal contracts that require U.S. citizenship. Only U.S. citizens will be considered for those positions.

Senior Engineers typically have 7 years of post‑graduate experience. Principal Engineers typically have 10 years.

Pay Range USD $90,000.00 – $177,450.00 per year.

Salary Range Information If a salary range is listed, it reflects the typical range for this full‑time position based on role, level, and location. Individual compensation within the range will be determined by factors such as work location, relevant experience, job‑related skills, education, or training.

Eligibility To Work

Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring current or future sponsorship.

Must pass pre‑employment and random drug/alcohol screenings, client background checks, and annual motor‑vehicle record (MVR) checks.
