Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDuration: 1-year contract (possibility of extension)Location: Springville, UT Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week Compensation: $25-29/hr Conversion Opportunity: Potential to transition to permanent employment based on performance and business needs Position Overview: The Administrative/Technical Writer will support engineering and compliance teams by preparing, updating, and maintaining technical documentation, coordinating process workflows, and ensuring documentation aligns with both internal and external standards. This role requires excellent writing ability, strong organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail to support certification, engineering, and validation initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

Develop, update, and maintain Instructions, Operations, and Maintenance (IOM) manuals.

Review and edit documentation for hazardous location certification packages.

Create and maintain standardized reporting templates for departmental consistency.

Coordinate Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), including scheduling and supporting review board meetings.

Administer and prioritize requests in the Global Equipment Request Queue.

Manage the Validation Test Request Queue to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Support document control processes and ensure compliance with internal standards and certification body requirements.

Collaborate closely with engineers, compliance teams, and project stakeholders to gather and organize technical content.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing, document management, or administrative coordination within a technical or industrial setting.

Familiarity with hazardous location certifications (e.g., ATEX, IECEx, UL, CSA) .

Experience with document control systems, ECN workflows, and validation/test request management.
