Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Technician

Location: North Charleston, SC (on-site – Aqua Miser/CESCO facility)

Type: Full-time

Job Summary

Join us as an Electro‐Mechanical Manufacturing Technician and be part of a team that builds cutting-edge water blasting systems and accessories. This role is ideal for someone with equal passion for mechanical systems and electrical fabrication, looking to work in a mission-driven, high-tech manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

·

Assemble and wire electrical control panels, operator touch screens, motor drives, and diagnostic systems

·

Perform mechanical assembly of industrial-grade water blasters, pumps, injectors, containment, and filtration units

·

Read and interpret complex technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics

·

Conduct troubleshooting, calibration, testing, and debugging of electro-mechanical systems

·

Collaborate with engineering to assist in prototyping, improvements, and manufacturing efficiency

·

Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and quality inspections on production equipment

·

Uphold safety protocols and contribute to compliance in an industrial manufacturing environment

Qualifications

·

Required:

·

Proven electrical skills (AC/DC wiring, panels, VFDs, PLCs, troubleshooting)

·

Strong mechanical aptitude (assembly, maintenance of hydraulic/pneumatic systems, metal fabrication)

·

Familiarity with manufacturing environments and industrial machinery

·

Ability to accurately read and act on blueprints, electrical schematics, and assembly drawings

·

Proficient in hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments

·

Detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills

·

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in mechatronics, industrial maintenance, or a related field

Knowledge of abrasive injection or dustless blasting technologies

Background in filtration systems, water handling equipment, or environmental safety systems
