Essential Job Duties This position serves as part of the
Life Safety/Electronics-Specialty Shop
team, ensuring the smooth operation of critical safety and monitoring systems across campus. The role involves both
preventive maintenance
and
hands-on installations or modifications
to essential systems that support the safety, security, and functionality of the university. As an Electronics Specialist, you will perform tasks such as:
Conducting
routine and preventive maintenance inspections
on:
Life Safety Systems Fire Detection and Suppression Systems Security Systems CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) Systems Equipment Monitoring Systems Other miscellaneous electronic systems and subsystems
Installing, maintaining, and modifying
fire detection and suppression systems, Life Safety equipment, card access systems, CCTV, and equipment monitoring tools. Responding to repair requests and troubleshooting
issues with various electronic components to ensure systems operate at peak performance. Coordinating with other teams and vendors
to guarantee timely inspections and installations.
Schedule of M-F 4:00 pm to 12:30 am (2nd Shift)
