Overview Join our dynamic team as a Merchandising Data Analyst, where you will collaborate with Merchants to drive effective product strategies across multiple channels. Utilize your analytical skills to assess category performance, identify opportunities for sales and margin enhancement, and support onboarding of new suppliers. Your expertise will serve as a key resource for insights and guidance, ensuring we meet our product category goals. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning and execution of major business activities alongside Merchants, creating impactful product insights and performance presentations. Analyze category performance both in-store and online, proactively recommending enhancements to increase product profitability. Develop comprehensive reports based on metrics and analysis for Merchants, providing valuable insights into product performance. Assist in preparing financial targets for Product Line Reviews and ensure successful collaboration with internal teams. Analyze inventory to identify opportunities for improving inventory health across the business. Collaborate with Merchants in vendor negotiations, providing support throughout the negotiation process. Build and maintain strong relationships as the main contact for Merchants, vendors, and internal teams. Work with internal teams to facilitate new item and vendor setup and ensure accurate data management. Conduct thorough content reviews to verify the accuracy of assortments and product specifications for both in-store and online availability. Partner with cross-functional teams to address vendor and product concerns raised by stakeholders. Ensure promotional activities align with strategic goals and timelines. Stay informed about company policies and industry standards relevant to assigned product areas. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent experience. At least 2 years of experience in retail or merchandising. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).
