Job Title: Cleared American Guard (CAG) Location: Multiple Sites – CONUS (including Hawaii) & OCONUS (Japan, Germany) Clearance Requirement: Active U.S. SECRET clearance (TOP SECRET preferred under COM authority) Travel Requirement: Up to 100% CONUS and OCONUS Position Summary: ACE Consulting is seeking highly qualified and security-cleared individuals to serve as Cleared American Guards (CAGs) at U.S. government-secured construction sites worldwide. This position supports the construction and security of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) in accordance with ICD/ICS 705 and U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) directives. Primary Responsibilities: • Meet and requirements and perform all responsibilities as identified in ICD/ICS 705. • Perform access-control functions at all vehicle and pedestrian entrances to the site except as otherwise noted in security plan • Screen all non-cleared workers, vehicles, and equipment entering or exiting the site • Deny introduction of prohibited materials, such as explosives, weapons, electronic devices, or other items as specified by authorized official or designee • Conduct random inspections of site areas to ensure no prohibited materials have been brought on to the site. • Bring to the attention of site security manager or appropriate authority, all suspicious materials or incidents • Assist with creating and executing standard operating procedures for security. • Monitor surveillance systems like CCTV Minimum Qualifications: • U.S. Citizenship (required by federal security regulations). • Active U.S. SECRET clearance (TOP SECRET required under COM authority or as directed). • Must pass NCIC-III and Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB) checks for base access. • Ability to stand, walk, and inspect areas for long periods, including exposure to outdoor environments and variable weather. • Experience in security, law enforcement, or military operations preferred. • Completion of Antiterrorism Level I training (can be completed upon hiring). • Must be able to obtain and maintain base access credentials, including necessary installation paperwork and forms (e.g., AE Form 190-16A). Preferred Qualifications: • Experience supporting SCIF construction or secure facility operations. • Knowledge of ICD 705, CNSSI 7000, DODD 5205.07, and TEMPEST standards. • Prior service in protective security or facility access control roles. • Familiarity with personal and vehicle search procedures, CCTV systems, and portable intrusion detection equipment. • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) or Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) may be preferred. • Knowledge of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 regarding SCIF security and standards. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Attention to detail and a strong security discipline. Tools & Equipment Use: CAGs may be required to use and maintain security equipment including: • Metal detectors and vehicle inspection mirrors. • Two-way radios and wireless communication devices. • Digital access control systems and intrusion detection monitors. • PPE including duty belt, tactical clothing, hard-toe boots, and high-visibility gear. Work Schedule and Conditions: • Typical hours: 0730–1700, Monday through Friday (subject to shift adjustments per site). • Federal holidays and site-specific closures observed. • Must be available for worldwide travel to include extended assignments in OCONUS environments. • Must comply with strict no-photography and no-electronic-device policies within secure zones unless authorized. Security & Compliance: • Must comply with all site-specific Construction Security Plans (CSPs) and AT/OPSEC protocols. • Adherence to all U.S. Marine Corps and Department of Defense cyber, physical, and personnel security policies is mandatory. • Violations or anomalies must be reported immediately through appropriate channels.
