Systems Engineer Alexandria, VA Pay From: $135,000 per year MUST: Experienced Systems Engineer Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility 8+ years of hands on experience managing, maintaining, provisioning and installing Windows Servers and VMWare tools and systems 8+ years of experience with Active Directory domains, VDI, VMware vSphere and Horizon Experience with enterprise data network services, including performing operations and maintenance on desktops, workstations, servers, applications, and other IT resources Experience using system monitoring tools such as InterMapper and vROPS (ManageEngine experience a plus) Experience with tools such as SCCM, VSphere, RDP, and ServiceNow strongly desired Excellent communication skills both written and verbal High attention to details Strong problem-solving skills and highly analytical At least 1 current certification : Security+ce, MCSE, MCSA, CCNP or CISSP is required Higher level VMware certs are a plus VCP, VCAP, Design Expert ect... is a plus Bachelor Degree or additional 6 years of relevant work experience DUTIES: Ideal candidate will provide use their experience in data enterprise network services to provide enterprise level services to the client’s systems both on prem and virtually Provide both on prem and cloud support to ensure proper function and accesses for the divisions current desktops, workstations, servers, applications, and other IT resources Evaluate, maintain, and improve network reliability, availability, and performance Maintain and respond to alerts from network monitoring tools such as InterMapper, ManageEngine, and vROPS Work with server and virtualization infrastructure and technologies Interface with customers to resolve system-related issues while providing world-class IT and customer service Other services as requested Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
