Are you passionate about leveraging cloud technology to enhance education? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a dedicated Solutions Architect to join our World Wide Public Sector practice. In this role, you will drive the adoption of Amazon's cloud services by collaborating directly with customers and engaging with our network of system integrators and solution providers.
Base Pay Range:
$118,200.00/yr - $204,300.00/yr. This role is a full-time position based in the US with travel expectations as noted in the qualifications. Responsibilities Lead technical engagements and ensure success in implementation projects by defining architecture, responding to RFPs, and developing deep expertise in AWS technologies. Serve as a subject matter expert on security for customer applications and services; proactively share best practices within the AWS solutions architect community. Deliver exceptional technical designs and strategic guidance to customers while collaborating with sales and business development teams to promote the AWS platform. Facilitate technical training for customers and partners through initiatives like Immersion Days, and document best practices through whitepapers, blogs, and code. Collect and analyze customer feedback to drive the evolution of the AWS platform. About the Team You will be part of the EdTech SouthEast Team, within the NAMER-based WWPS EdTech division. The EdTech and Govtech teams create the XTech family within the SLG/EDU domain, working closely with educational institutions and independent software vendors (ISVs) to navigate their migration to the cloud and modernization efforts while aligning with the academic calendar. Basic Qualifications 2+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures. 4+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, and data analytics. 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience within software or internet industries. Preferred Qualifications Experience in software development or internet-related industries. Experience in migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud.
