Senior System Administrator with Security Clearance

Summary: ClearanceJobs, on behalf of one of our customers, is currently seeking a full-time Senior System Administrator to work on-site in Fort Meade, MD. This position requires active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP). Required Experience/Education: • Bachelor's / Communication Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Information Systems and 15 years of professional experience. (20 years of experience without a degree) • Experience configuring and managing Linux/Unix operating systems, and implementing automation/enhancements to improve reliability and performance • Experience installing/loading operating system software, troubleshooting, and maintaining integrity • Experience configuring network components in virtualized infrastructures - e.g. Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto Firewalls • Experience patching operating systems to maintain enterprise/network security compliance • Experience cabling, racking/stacking, and documenting IT systems for client, server, storage, network devices, etc. • Experience remediating system and hardware problems throughout the resolution process Required Certifications: • CWIP IAT 3 certified Required Skills: • Linux / Unix command-line • Scripting (Bash) • Docker • Kubernetes • Ansible (Playbooks), Puppet • Virtual Machine / IPSEC / VPN Tunnel (ASA to ASA) • STE/STN; IAVA Patching
