Embedded Software Engineer - Secret Clearance with Security Clearance

Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer Work Location: Camden, New Jersey Onsite Requirement: 4 days/week (9/80 Schedule) Security Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance Focus Area: National Security Salary Range: $80,000 - $165,000 based on experience and Labor Category considerations Key Responsibilities: • Analyze and resolve complex software issues independently or within a cross-functional team. • Apply principles of computer science, engineering, and mathematics to develop software for embedded hardware. • Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to design and evaluate hardware-software interfaces and system performance. • Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, integration, and testing. • Develop and maintain software test plans, procedures, and technical documentation. • Conduct experimental tests and prototype evaluations using modeling tools and lab equipment. • Participate in peer reviews and defect tracking/resolution processes. • Implement embedded software using C/C++ and Python for real-time operating systems Required Qualifications: • Active Secret Clearance • Experience with RUST Programming • Proficiency with RTOS (e.g., Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks) • Strong experience with Modern C++ and object-oriented design • Familiarity with UML tools (e.g., IBM Rhapsody, MagicDraw/Cameo) • Experience developing device drivers and Board Support Packages (BSPs) • Knowledge of Information Assurance and cryptography • Experience with NSA Type 1 certification or other software certifications (e.g., DO-178) • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
