This role is part of the Procurement function and is responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, services, or raw materials from vendors and suppliers at a global level.

What You’ll Do

Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, and oversee recruiting and hiring of new employees.

Coordinate and manage the team’s daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.

Set and track staff and department deadlines; mentor and coach as needed.

Create and implement company-wide policies, procedures, playbooks, and other organizational materials.

Direct sourcing and procurement strategies to support program, corporate, and client goals and objectives.

Develop, communicate, and manage the execution of national and global sourcing and procurement strategies to support program, corporate, and client goals and objectives.

Design and develop advanced purchasing information systems; prepare monthly reports of departmental activities, KPIs, and metrics for Executive management.

Approve annual procurement budget and supplier base; review commodity and service requirements.

Serve as the principal liaison between the business and client sourcing, and internal departments.

Resolve escalated vendor disputes and define requirements for goods, services, supplies, and equipment.

Review organization requirements and establish long-term and strategic procurement planning objectives.

Apply deep knowledge across disciplines to drive financial and functional performance.

Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values; negotiate with senior management, customers, and external parties to reach strategic agreements.

Conceptualize new methods, techniques, processes, and standards across job disciplines or functions.

Direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems using advanced critical thinking.

Global experience strongly preferred.

What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 12–15 years of relevant experience; in lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. C.P.M., C.P.S.M., or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility required.

Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.

Ability to exchange sensitive, complicated information; convey performance expectations and handle problems.

Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets across multiple job disciplines and departments.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Excellent organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.

Strong mathematical ability; capacity to calculate complex figures such as percentages and fractions.
