Intelligence Watch Officer / All Source Analyst
Provide analytical support to the Government 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year through shift work on a rotational basis. The work is divided into six (6) shifts supporting 24‑hour operations with at least one person per shift.
Responsibilities
Provide intelligence analysis as required, based on raw intelligence collected from a variety of sources (i.e., INTs) to support a dynamic intelligence watch and warning operation.
Review intelligence and information across multiple classification platforms and data sources to identify, triage, and assess intelligence/information for indicators and warnings of threats.
Review raw and finished intelligence from the Intelligence Community (IC), DHS Intelligence Enterprise, and state, local, tribal, and territorial partners.
Assist the government in the collection and dissemination of current, relevant, and actionable intelligence, information, indications, and/or warnings that enable the Chief Intelligence Officer (CINT) and the Analytic Centers to frame emerging threats at the earliest possible opportunity, gauge initial and subsequent responses, and take targeted mitigation actions.
Conduct analytic exchanges with I&A, the IC, and other federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and private sector (FSLTTP) partners to maintain communications and situational awareness of daily activities.
Write intelligence products, prepare and deliver briefings, and initiate other communicative actions to further decision‑making, situational awareness, and information sharing, and develop and compile metrics, feedback, and other data related to watch and warning.
Maintain operational, tactical, and situational awareness of current and emerging threat streams, geopolitical developments, and DHS leadership priorities to provide current intelligence products and support to decision makers.
Prepare written products that convey factual information in a clear and concise manner for executive and cabinet‑level audiences as authorized by I&A leadership.
Possess excellent oral, written, and coordination skills to communicate factual information clearly and concisely, often under pressure and tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications
TS/SCI clearance.
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in International Studies, Intelligence, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, or related concentration.
Three (3) years of prior experience performing the functions identified in the Statement of Work related to Intelligence Watch Support.
Intelligence Community experience desired; DHS all‑source intelligence analysis experience preferred.
Knowledge of the DHS I&A and Intelligence Community intelligence authorities, DHS component missions, overall I&A intelligence research and analysis, and the role of I&A in supporting the DHS Intelligence Enterprise.
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of Intel Watch style reporting best practices.
Knowledge of Intel Watch warnings and indicator best practices.
Knowledge of Intelligence Community best practices on current intelligence products.
