Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Enterprise Platform Architecture & Development (Sales, Service, FSL)
– Engineer the central nervous system for our global commercial operations.
Architect & Build
– Design and construct robust, scalable solutions on the Salesforce Platform focusing on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Field Service Lightning (FSL).
Deep FSL Customization
– Implement and enhance advanced FSL functionalities, including complex scheduling and dispatching logic, work‑order automation, service‑console optimization, and custom mobile flows for field technicians.
Performance & Scalability
– Ensure the org performs flawlessly under heavy load, optimizing for governor limits, API usage, and large data volumes; anticipate future growth.
Advanced Application Development (Apex & LWC)
– Write clean, powerful code that brings architectural vision to life.
Modern Front‑End
– Build highly interactive and performant UI using Lightning Web Components (LWC) with accessibility and reusability best practices.
Robust Backend
– Develop complex business logic using Apex classes, triggers, and asynchronous Apex (Batch, Queueable, Schedulable).
Code Quality Stewardship
– Champion Salesforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor developers to elevate code quality.
System Integration & Data Integrity
– Bridge Salesforce to the broader enterprise technology landscape.
API‑Led Integration
– Design and implement resilient integrations between Salesforce and external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
Middleware Expertise
– Leverage MuleSoft and other integration platforms for high‑volume data synchronization and process orchestration.
Data Architecture
– Ensure data integrity and consistency with robust error‑handling for all integrations.
Experience Cloud & Community Enablement
– Build digital gateways for partners and customers.
Portal Architecture
– Design, implement, and maintain sophisticated Salesforce Communities (Experience Cloud).
Custom Experience Development
– Create branded, highly functional user journeys via custom community pages and tools.
Configuration & Management
– Own experience cloud configuration for customer self‑service portals, partner deal registration sites, and other public‑facing experiences.
Qualifications
Experience
– 10+ years of hands‑on Salesforce development and architecture in large, complex organisations.
Technical Skills
– Expert proficiency in Apex and Lightning Web Components with a portfolio of proven projects.
Domain Expertise
– Deep familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Field Service Lightning implementation and customization.
Architectural Mastery
– In‑depth knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, including security model, data model, and governor limits.
Community Development
– Extensive experience designing and deploying custom communities and partner/customer portals.
Integration Experience
– Real‑world experience with REST, SOAP, and middleware (MuleSoft preferred).
Certifications (Desired)
– Platform Developer II, Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, Field Service Consultant.
DevOps & Tooling
– Familiarity with Git, SFDX, Copado or similar CI/CD pipelines.
Leadership
– Proven ability to collaborate in Agile environments and mentor junior developers.
Salary Range:
$130,000 - $150,000
