Job Description Client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a seasoned backend developer with strong Java expertise and a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Java J2EE and Spring Boot.
Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for front-end and third-party integrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure reliability.
Monitor and enhance application performance, scalability, and security.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team meetings.
Stay current with emerging technologies and frameworks.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Java J2EE and object-oriented programming.
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and related modules (e.g., Spring Security, Spring Data).
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON/XML.
Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL, and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and Docker.
Proficiency in Git and version control workflows.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with AWS cloud services.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, or Vue.js (a plus).
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
