Overview Sev1Tech is looking for a Senior Storage Engineer to support a team providing enterprise IT operations support for a DHS customer.
The project is focused on infrastructure management and operations - e.g., monitoring, incident response, cybersecurity, system administration, patching, unified communications, hosting - with an emphasis on automation to:
Minimize manual intervention, improve efficiency, and reduce human errors
Implement platforms that orchestrate work-flows for end-to-end task execution
Utilize AI as well as predictive analytics to detect anomalies, predict failures, and initiate self-healing processes to reduce downtime and improve system resilience
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
A minimum of 10 years of experience in Storage Administration specifically including NetApp storage systems experience; that includes experience with NetApp systems administration support for large scale Windows/UNIX/Linux environments.
10 years of experience installing and configuring NetApp storage systems.
10 years of experience writing scripts with a scripting language.
5 years of experience using OCI.
5 years of experience in managing FlexPod integration with NetApp storage.
2 years of experience with AWS On-Premise and AWS migrations.
Familiarity with DevOps and ITIL processes.
