30 Month Contract, Full-time
Selected candidates are expected to work in the Albany NY Office, 2-3 days per week
Day-to-day tasks: Based on a set of business requirements the Software Architect will be required to define the data requirements, write application specifications and design for the mainframe and .NET processing. Programs will be written in .NET and Cobol based on the design; the necessary JCL will be written as well. Unit testing for each module is required as well as writing test plans for the integration test. When testing is completed the Software Architect will be required to migrate the programs to the production environment and perform post-production validation of the implementation
Software Architect Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system.

84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
84 months experience with COBOL/CICS/JCL with version z/OS 4.2.0/V3.2
84 months experience with DB2/SQL with Version 10
