Your Responsibilities Our Account Manager role is at the forefront of our Lockton Northeast Client Engagement strategy. You will be directly responsible for the day-to-day servicing needs of Lockton Northeast clients under the guidance of the Unit Manager, Account Executive, and/or Client Executive. Overall responsibilities include leading the core service delivery items and executing all day‑to‑day administrative and service needs.
Core Responsibilities
Execute administrative and service needs, including claim issues, compliance questions, billing questions, plan‑related questions, and other urgent carrier issues.
Acknowledge receipt of client questions within 24 hours.
Engage resources to set timing expectations.
Communicate expected timing to client and update as necessary.
Hold internal resources and carrier partners accountable for deliverables.
Lead all core service delivery activity:
Complete tasks assigned to the ‘support role’ in the client engagement workbook.
Client service calls – lead and communicate effectively, ensure updated log emailed to client at least 30 minutes prior to call.
Monthly Claims Tracking – update and send monthly claims to client prior to month‑end; ensure tracking is peer reviewed by finance.
Compliance – send annual compliance calendar to client, remind of compliance due dates and ensure deadlines are met, complete 5500 drafts, lead PCORI calculations, review and deliver SPDs and SBCs, send annual compliance notices during open enrollment, and update client Wrap document.
Project management of open enrollment communications:
Establish draft timeline and setup call after renewal decisions are made.
Develop benefits guide/open enrollment presentation/brainshark with communications team.
Ensure Account Executive or Account Lead reviews output.
Deliver initial draft to client; communicate high‑priority action to meet deadlines.
Deliver final version within established timeframe.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related program preferred or equivalent education and/or experience required.
Minimum of two years of benefits insurance experience and/or human resources / consulting experience.
Ability to organize work efficiently and manage time to meet deadlines.
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to comply with all company policies and protect confidentiality of client and company information.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
Legally able to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship now or in the future.
