About the Role You are a dependable team player with a strong work ethic, exceptional accuracy, and strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. As part of the Financial Operations – Regulatory Reporting team, your primary responsibility will be ensuring the accuracy and proper reporting of cash, investments, and trade data within the company’s general ledger accounts for regulatory compliance. You thrive in environments where your attention to detail, analytical capabilities, and proactive problem‑solving directly impact operational efficiency, compliance, and risk management.

In this role you will:

Ensure the accuracy of cash, investments, and trade data within the company’s general ledger

Complete daily regulatory reporting and preparation of the monthly 1‑FR‑FCM report

Ensure compliance with NFA and CFTC segregation rules

Maintain comprehensive reports and documentation for all reconciliations and regulatory reporting, ensuring readiness for future audits and compliance with internal controls

Complete quarterly reviews of margins against carry broker margins

Investigate and resolve reconciling items to maintain clean, accurate records

Reconcile open options positions, verify settle prices, correct offsets, and ensure new products are captured in reconciliations

Reconcile data between client‑facing systems and back‑office systems to ensure consistency in financial and regulatory reporting

Monitor liquidity levels and manage foreign currency hedging

Monitor and manage dormant accounts for escheatment across all states

Research and outline requirements for new product offerings, ensuring proper testing and integration

Collaborate with development, compliance, risk, accounting, and management teams to enhance reporting tools and workflows

Support the implementation of strong internal controls and sound accounting policies

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment while adhering to regulatory and internal control standards

Organized, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated with strong communication skills

Forward‑thinking mindset and desire to innovate

Ability to work within deadlines while providing a high‑quality work product

High moral and ethical standards with the ability to be trusted with confidential information

Extremely dependable with a ‘can do’ attitude and problem‑solving approach

Prior experience with performing account reconciliations and working in financial systems is a plus

Compensation: The salary for this role starts at $60,000.00 USD. In addition, this position will also receive an annual target bonus of 4%. Bonus pay at NinjaTrader is based on individual performance (50%) as well as company/team performance (50%).

Salary and bonus earnings are only two components of the total compensation package offered by NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader offers a 401K plan through ADP under which the company will match up to 3.5% of employee contributions. Annual paid time off allowance accrues at a rate of 18 days per year (some positions may qualify for more) plus seven paid holidays.

Location: This role is based in Chicago, IL. We are not open to remote candidates for this role.

Hybrid:

For Chicago‑based employees, we follow a hybrid work schedule: In‑office Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays. In addition to these weekly remote days, we offer:

20 additional flex remote days annually

5 Company Wide Office‑Optional weeks tied to major holidays
