We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Syndications department at CREA, located in our Boston, MA office. The analyst will support relationship managers and help evaluate, present, and close partnership placements with CREA’s investor clients.
Location Boston, MA (In‑Office | Tue – Thu; Flexible | Mon & Fri)
Reports To Managing Director, Syndications
Primary Responsibilities
Develop a foundational understanding of LIHTC underwriting and transaction structure.
Prepare investor‑specific charts, grids, and tables outlining investment parameters and comparisons.
Prepare and manage investor financial models and benefits schedules.
Assist in coordinating the third‑party review process for properties in multi‑investor funds and other investor outlets.
Help prepare and update sales materials for fund offerings.
Assist with due diligence reviews for investors.
Update and monitor deal pipelines for assigned accounts.
Assist in closings at upper‑tier partnership level, including closing documentation preparation and post‑closing follow‑ups.
Prepare and organize deal pitch materials for investor meetings.
Prepare and organize materials for sales meetings as needed.
Respond to ad‑hoc requests from investors and team members.
Assist other team members in their responsibilities.
Other duties as assigned by senior leadership.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, or a related business major from an accredited college or university.
1–3 years of professional experience in LIHTC, multi‑family real estate, investment analysis, or underwriting (preferred).
Up to 10% annual travel.
High motivation, proactive attitude, superb time‑management, and attention to detail.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
